Focusing on the legendary eponymous Eric Bloodaxe (ON: Eiríkr Blóðøx) and his queen Gunnhild's sanguine rise to the throne of Norway, this show in its early 2027 pre-release has already secured a second season, which should say something about the studio confidence behind it.
