contemporary Norse Goddess meme: Eir.

The second of the NorseGoddess memes is for Eir. Images of the herbal & apothecary have been presented to frame the idea of the Aesir's goddess of healing. Eir's also listed as a valkyrie in another source, so as with most Norse Deities the facets of what they do are polyvalent & complex. We like the inference of the last panel's hand gesturing seiðr work.

[Found on a VK Wall. If any of you know who made these, do tell. (And if you know the particular meme generator used, do tell, as we'd love to make more ourselves.)]

Guillermo Maytorena IV knew there was something special in the Norse Lore when he picked up a copy of the d'Aulaires' Norse Gods and Giants at age seven. Since then he's been fascinated by the truthful potency of Norse Mythology, passionately read & studied, embraced Ásatrú, launched the Map of Midgard project, and spearheaded the neologism/brand NorsePlay. If you have employment/opportunities in investigative mythology,  field research, or product development to offer, do contact him.
